When A Mk1 Maxi Changes Colour

The Maxi dials were first introduced in around 1976 and ran for approximately eight years. This Mk1 example is in lovely condition – the case is really strong having had a recent clean up – it looks incredible! The dial is flawless with the characteristic oversized hour plots that have turned a lovely ‘cookie-brown’ colour. This is a rare occurrence as the Mk1s are known to stay bright white, but this patina lifts the already super-cool Mk1 to new heights. The inlay remains in perfect original condition. The bracelet is a 93150 flip-lock in great condition, with a clasp stamped ‘V1’ and 501b endlinks. These watches have always been one of our all time favourites and when they look this good – its just kller! The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
