Patek Philippe Ellipse 3634 White Gold Step Case with Onyx Dial

The collector community has for a long time been fascinated with hard stone dials and more recently with the Patel Philippe Ellipse.

Combine both areas of interest and you have a pretty interesting watch indeed.
The Ellipse D’Or reference 3634 is a large size Ellipse measuring 38×33.5mm and features a very unusual three-step case. These watches were sometimes fitted with rare hard stone dials, such as this incredible example with an onyx dial.

The case remains in excellent condition, with good definition on the steps.
The dial is clean with no hour markers and very clean white gold coloured no-lume hands.
The watch is powered by the legendary automatic calibre 28.255, the same movement as the 3700 Nautilus. This Ellipse comes on the pictured leather strap that is fitted with the original Patek Philippe white gold buckle. The movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
